The Southwest Washington Down Syndrome Community exists to celebrate, support, and empower individuals with Down syndrome and their families. We are redefining community by creating dynamic social experiences, meaningful career pathways, and innovative advocacy efforts that amplify the voices of our community. Through bold initiatives and heartfelt connections, we strive to make Southwest Washington the most empowering place for people with Down syndrome to live, work, and thrive.

We are creating a future where every person with Down syndrome is seen, heard, and valued—not just included, but truly integral to the fabric of our community.

SW Washington Down Syndrome Community is to create a more inclusive and supportive community where individuals with Down syndrome are empowered to live meaningful, connected, and fulfilling lives.

1. Serving as a Trusted Resource – Providing families, caregivers, and educators with the connections, guidance, and support they need to navigate life with Down syndrome at every stage.
